There are nine Advanced Certifications for Tile Installers (ACT) available, each with its own set of specific requirements and time limits for completion. These certifications involve hands-on evaluations that assess various critical aspects essential for each certification. Critical points refer to specific tasks that must be executed according to TCNA, ANSI, or product manufacturer's standards; failure to do so results in test failure.

Courses and Written Pre-qualification Tests Currently being offered:

ACT Orientation: Advanced Certifications for Tile Installers Orientation will acquaint you with the details of what the ACT is, why we need the ACTs, introduction to the 9 available certifications and the steps required to become an ACT Certified Installer. This course will also cover the role TCNA & ANSI play on ACT & the tile industry! 
ACT #9 TCNA & ANSI Workshop for Gauged Porcelain Tile/Panels: This comprehensive class is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve the ACT #9 Gauged Porcelain Tile/Panel Certification. There are 14 critical points to master in this certification and this class will prepare you for both the written pre-qualification test, to be taken at the Training Center scheduled on a person-to-person basis, but by November 7, 2023, and the hands-on Certification to be scheduled upon successful completion of written test.
